Hey guys, I'm rebooting the retreat dates thread since I'm not sure if y'all would catch me making a comment on the "official thread."
Polebenders is booked the weekend of June 12-13 but we're looking at one of the last two weekends in July to see if those would work. So we have a choice - reschedule for July or try going somewhere else (Rockport? Dad's ranch? Austin?) in June.
So let's take a poll - vote on your preferred option:
Option One: June 12-13, destination TBD
Option Two: July 17-19, Polebenders in Seadrift
Option Three: July 24-26, Polebenders in Seadrift

UPDATE - The weekend we can have Polebenders is July 24-26. Please let me know ASAP if that will work for everyone since apparently the place is in high demand. It's free, by the way. All we'd pay for is food, drinks and a fishing guide if we want it.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who have been asking, Seadrift is about 2.5 hours from Houston towards Rockport (it's about 45 minutes to an hour closer than Rockport). So Dallas folks might want to fly into Hobby. Another thought is if we go to Rockport instead y'all could fly into Corpus and we could come pick you up.
Anyway...let me know your preferences.
That date is fine with me. The only weekend that Rockport would be not available is the weekend of the 4th of July just because my mom's whole side of the fam normally goes down there then. I know driving distance from dallas to rockport is 5 hours so if yall wanted to drive there it might be cheaper than a plane ticket. I am down for either place! I have never been to Seadrift so that would be fun!
